About Anusha rani

Hello! I am Anusha, an investment banking professional based in Chennai. I have more than four years of experience in financial research, financial modelling and deal support, and I currently lead a team in investment banking.

My day-to-day work involves building valuation models, analysing company financial statements, preparing pitch books and presenting findings clearly to senior bankers. I started in finance through internships in credit rating research and finance at a non-profit organisation, and later worked in corporate strategy and financial modelling before moving into investment banking.

I hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with specialisations in Finance, Human Resources and Analytics from Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Chennai, where I received a Merit Scholarship. I also have a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Guru Nanak College, Chennai, where I won a prize for proficiency in English.

I want to teach because I enjoy making finance and commerce easier to understand, and I know how much a clear explanation can change a student’s confidence. To be honest, I am a working finance professional and not a full-time school teacher. What I offer is real industry experience, so you learn why a concept matters and how it is used in practice, not only how to answer an exam question. I am patient, I break topics into small steps, and I am happy to repeat an explanation as many times as needed.

About the lesson

My teaching is built around your syllabus and your goals. I explain each concept with clear, everyday examples, and I use PowerPoint, Word documents or a whiteboard, depending on what helps you understand best. Along with theory, I include practical examples from industry around the world, so you see how the subject works outside the textbook.

Study materials are shared after each class, and I give additional articles and practice material for reading at home.

Class 10: all main subjects
Class 11 and 12 (Commerce group): Accountancy, Business Studies and Economics
Finance skills: Financial Modelling, Valuation, Excel and PowerPoint
