About Marta
I am a qualified Italian language tutor with experience teaching students of all ages and levels. I hold both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Humanities and Philosophy at Sapienza University of Rome and am CEDILS certified. I previously worked as an Italian Language Assistant with CO.AS.IT (bases in Sydney), teaching and helping in class as a teacher assistant with students from Kindergarten to Year 12. I aim to help students develop confident, accurate, and natural Italian in a relaxed and friendly, learning environment, where students feel supported, motivated, and comfortable using the language.

My Italian lessons are tailored to each student and focus on clear, practical communication, accompanied by cultural context and knowledge. While grammar is an essential part of learning Italian, I also place strong emphasis on a communicative approach that helps students speak and understand contemporary Italian as it is used in everyday conversations. With experience teaching all ages and levels, including as a CO.AS.IT Italian Language Assistant in Sydney, I adapt lessons to your goals, pace, and, above all, interests.
