About Matilde
I am an Italian girl very passionate about languages and literature. I have studied in Italy in a Liceo Classico, which is a secondary school which focuses on Italian grammar, Italian literature, ancient Greek and Latin culture, language and literature. Moreover, I enjoy reading, and I am a very big fan of Italian classics like the Divine Comedy, the Betrothed, Zeno's Conscience, the Decameron, the Name of the Rose and many others!
I would like to teach Italian, not just because I am Italian and feel the passion for my mother tongue and culture, but because I think that teaching someone else a language represents a moment for cultural exchange where it is possible to appreciate a different culture from your own. In this way, I would like to make students learn about cultural diversity through the study of a new (or not so new) language.

Italian
Classes will typically last 1 hour but it is possible to make arrangements to reduce or extend the class according to your needs.
Classes will be conducted in Italian so that you, as a student, will practice your listening and speaking skills. Moreover, during the class, a small text will be read where new words can be found so as to improve your vocabulary, and of course, the text will be chosen on the basis of your level.
The classes are suitable for students aged 14-99 with already a basic knowledge of Italian, no matter how basic!
My goal is to help you improve your Italian, help you prepare for exams if you need to, and learn about Italian culture in Italian.
I have extensive knowledge of the Italian language and Italian literature, coming from a Liceo Classico, with a basic knowledge of Latin and ancient Greek, from where the language evolved.
