About Silvia
I am a young professional with 10+ year experience in language tutoring in Italy, Sweden and Japan. Throughout my studies I have tutored around 50 people and my students have always improved their grades at school or their skills in the office. Hence their will to keep our sessions ongoing for quite a long time. My love for languages has had me travelling for my academic studies, and I live in the UK right now.

My main teaching method is learning by doing. I usually organise my session with a 15-min conversational ice-breaker, tailored to the student's level. Then we proceed to grammar teaching (points will be picked up from the first part and then expanded for a more nuanced improvement). In the end, speaking/reading review of the main topics for each session as a wrap-up. My aim as a tutor/teacher is to allow my students to feel comfortable and confident with their learning process and communication skills. I do this by building a rapport over time and by delivering fun, engaging lessons, practically beneficial to my students.
