About Jared
Jared John Arnold is a personal trainer and health coach based in Cape Town, South Africa. After a childhood shaped by physical activity and a number of years working as a student coach after high school, he decided to go pro in 2010. He completed his National Certificate in Fitness at HFPA Cape Town and then began working and furthering his education with Steiner Ltd. Through Steiner in London, he studied Nutrition, Yoga, Pilates, Spinning, beginners Tai Chi, Bootcamp and Circuit Training, as well as completing rigorous sales training based around nutrition and detox products. He then went on to work as a fitness coordinator on the Oriana, a 2000 passenger cruise liner operated by P&O Cruises. Upon returning to South Africa in 2013, he registered with REPSSA (Register of Exercise Professionals South Africa). Since that time, he has worked in a number of different roles in the fitness and sport industries. These include coaching development skills at various schools in and around Cape Town with Tumbling Tigerz and working as a sales rep for Supplement SA, a well-known supplement and nutrition company in South Africa. Throughout this period he also trained private clients and now runs his own business called Jared The Travelling Trainer. He works online and in person with individuals or groups and creates custom sessions based on the needs and desires of the client. Besides the above-mentioned areas of expertise, he also has extensive experience with injury rehabilitation and holds a level 1 first aid certificate from the First Aid Academy. He has also specialized his skills by studying courses in movement & injury/pain rehabilitation. His thirst for knowledge has given him an excellent all-round understanding of the human body, movement and training. He has also organized a number of bootcamps, events and fitness groups as well.

Jared is a brilliant trainer. He combines intelligence, humour, with really sound technical skills to make training both fun and highly effective. He also continues to support injury related rehabilitation very effectively, and helped me recover full use of both shoulders after significant injury.
