About Da'Shawn

Hi! I’m Da’Shawn, a professional piano instructor and music producer with over 10 years of experience in the music industry. As a member of the Recording Academy, I’ve had the opportunity to produce music for major platforms like BET, VH1, and Paramount.

With a Bachelor's Degree in Music Business and Technology, I specialize in teaching students of all levels, from complete beginners to those looking to refine their skills. My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s learning style, focusing on technique, rhythm, ear training, and musical confidence.

Whether you’re learning for fun or pursuing music more seriously, I create a supportive environment where you can grow at your own pace while building real, lasting skills.

About the lesson

Hi! I’m Da’Shawn, a music producer and piano instructor who makes learning music fun, creative, and confidence-building.

My lessons go beyond just playing notes — I help students understand music, express themselves, and enjoy the process. Whether you’re a beginner or have experience, I tailor each lesson to fit your goals and pace.

I create a supportive, engaging environment where students can learn their favorite songs, build strong fundamentals, and grow their confidence through music.

Let’s make learning piano something you look forward to!

Perfect! Our first lesson was awesome! Da'Shawn arrived on time and was very kind and personable. She made my daughter feel comfortable with playing the piano and taught piano at a great pace for her.
