About Gabriel
Hi, I’m Gabriel Rebillet. I’ve always believed that learning piano should be fun, inspiring, and tailored to the individual. When I was younger, I didn’t always enjoy piano lessons because the way they were structured didn’t really connect with how I learned best. That experience shaped the way I teach today—I focus on making lessons enjoyable, engaging, and full of useful knowledge, so students stay curious and motivated. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone get excited about the piano, whether they’re playing their first song or exploring new musical ideas. I love helping people discover the joy of music in a way that feels natural and rewarding.

As a piano tutor, I focus on making music accessible, enjoyable, and personalised to each student’s interests and goals. My approach is flexible and student-centered, helping learners build a strong foundation through hands-on playing and creative exploration, rather than relying on traditional sheet music.
Teaching Techniques and Methodology:
I specialise in teaching piano by ear, pattern recognition, and chord-based playing. I often use lead sheets, improvisation exercises, and familiar songs to help students quickly gain confidence and enjoy the learning process. My goal is to help students develop a natural connection to the instrument, strengthen their musical instincts, and express themselves through music.
Lesson Length:
Lessons typically last between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the student’s age, level, and goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
I have 8 years of experience teaching piano to students of various ages and backgrounds. My own journey as a musician has been rooted in ear training, creativity, and performance, which allows me to connect well with students who thrive in less traditional learning environments.
Who My Lessons Are For:
I teach students of all levels and welcome beginners, adult learners, and those who prefer to play by ear or focus on contemporary styles like pop, blues, or improvisation. My lessons are suitable for ages 5 and up, and I adapt my approach to fit each student’s individual learning style and musical interests.
