About Efim
Music means connection and freedom to me, that moment when ideas in your mind become sound and you're fully immersed in the process, instead of just thinking about it. I'm a jazz saxophonist and music producer with over 15 years of experience in performance, composition, and production. I hold a bachelor's degree in jazz performance and have performed with various projects throughout Europe, including appearances at renowned venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie. In addition to live performances, I've been producing music since 2014 and have worked professionally in this field since 2020, producing for other artists, my own releases, and commercial music projects. I also teach at the Berlin University of the Arts, where I work with students on both their technical skills and their creative development.

Saxophone Lessons / Ableton Music Production: The sheer volume of information isn't the problem of the 21st century. The real challenge is navigating countless tutorials and tips with clarity and staying truly consistent. My approach: - simple concepts that actually make a difference - we focus on transforming your ideas from your head into music - I help you develop thought patterns so that even without motivation, you know what to do. We always start with your goal. From that, we develop concrete steps to get you there. After each lesson, you'll leave with 1-2 clear things you can immediately continue working on. Technical: (music theory, sound, scales, synthesis, sampling, etc.) Practical: (developing routines, building thought patterns, structuring progress, etc.) Who this is for: For people of all levels who are ready to move forward. This requires patience and consistency, but the reward is a feeling of freedom in your own music-making.

Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen! Ein toller Lehrer mit einem einfachen, aber sehr effektiven Ansatz. Unser Sohn hat Saxophonunterricht genommen und es hat ihm richtig viel Spaß gemacht.
I’ve been taking online lessons with Efim for a while now and learned a lot about music production! It is nicely organized and each time you just feel more motivated to keep going and there is so much to learn. Would totally recommend it, he is very knowledgeable and easy to work with.
Ich habe Efim über die Musikschule Weißensee kennengelernt und dann ein paar Monate privaten Saxophon Unterricht bei ihm genommen. Er ist einfach ein richtiger Profi, merkt man sofort. Es ging nicht nur um Technik, sondern auch viel um Ausdruck und eigenes Gefühl beim spielen. War jedes Mal inspirierend, nicht wie normaler Unterricht. Würde ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen!!
Efim kann ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Die Stunden waren immer angenehm und nicht so trocken wie ich es von früher kannte. Man merkt schon nach einiger Zeit, dass man freier wird beim spielen und nicht mehr so verkrampft ist.
Ich hatte paar Monate Saxophon Unterricht bei Efim und muss sagen, hat echt viel gebracht. Am Anfang war ich total unsicher beim spielen, aber jetzt fühlt sich das alles viel freier an. Er erklärt ruhig und man merkt einfach dass er Ahnung hat. Kann ich nur empfehlen.
