I am a jazz/symphonic trumpet player. I've been playing trumpet for 10 years. I've also studied piano, music theory, and voice as well and have been playing steel drums for about 5 years.

About Astian
I am a jazz trumpet player and symphonic trumpet player. I am also a pop and classical singer and steel drum performer on the side. I've been teaching piano since early 2020. I went to college for 5 years and am well adapted and have a great understanding of how to teach the subjects based on my knowledge.

I like to make sure my students have an understanding of why the subject is needed and can successfully be able to explain the concepts simply. I like to teach one on one and give my students a test to see how much they know and ask them about themselves. I'll fine-tune what I figure out and teach them based on how I believe they learn. If there's something they have trouble understanding, I'll try to break that part down as much as I can to help them understand things more fundamentally.

Details
I charge $5 extra for traveling costs because I would take the bus to you and back. The $5 will cover the full trip and will not be added to the hourly nor will it be once for me getting to you and me getting back home. I try to keep my price low because I don't want someone to not get good lessons just because they didn't have the money.
