About Tessa
こんにちは！My name is Tessa! I'm a JLPT N3 Certified Japanese tutor open to teaching students of all ages. I've been learning Japanese for 6 years. I lived in Osaka, Japan for 7 months where I studied Japanese at a university and received 1-on-1 tutoring.

こんにちは！Are you preparing for a trip to Japan? Wishing you could watch anime without subtitles? Just want to learn Japanese for fun? Whatever your goals are, you've come to the right place!
I provide individualized teaching sessions to help you learn Japanese based on your goals. I teach using the Genki textbooks, and by utilizing other online resources that I can share with you. Depending on your goals, a typical session would include grammar instruction & practice, reading (optional writing instruction), and a vocabulary & kanji take-home study list.
I believe that anyone can learn Japanese with the right resources and patience. We can work at your pace to reach your goals!
