About Idalia
I am a journalism student from Los Angeles. I received my Associate Degree in journalism this year and continue my education at CSULB. I have over four years of tutoring experience working with k-12 kids and college students. Overall, I have taught over 50 students over the past four years. My students can expect a great improvement on their writing and English skills as well as a greater understanding of grammar, rhetoric, and prose.

I approach each topic as something that the student will enjoy. Before the student and I begin our lesson I make sure to explain to them a little about the background of what they will be learning. I speak to my students in a way that they will understand. I believe my patience and eagerness to educate others allows me to be the most efficient tutor.
