About Tom
Hi, my name is Tom Brett. I achieved a H1 grade in HL LC Maths, Applied Maths and Physics (613 points overall). I have two years' experience in maths tutoring with very positive feedback and results from my students. Beneficial maths grinds can be difficult to find so I’m glad to offer this service to struggling students.

My grinds are tailored for students wanting to improve their grades in Maths for the Junior or Leaving Certificate. Each lesson will focus on the needs of the student by strengthening their weak topics and ensuring they have a good skill set to tackle maths problems. Lessons can be provided for a set period of time, or on a continual basis.

I think Tom is a great tutor, he has helped me improve so much in maths in areas I thought I would never grasp. He explains everything well and is very patient when teaching which gives me confidence. On top of this he’s also a really sound lad.
I highly recommend working with him for anything Maths related. He’s really helped me grasp onto topics that I was really struggling with. He is very good at tailoring the lessons to what I need to improve on and works through the problems with me.
Tom has been providing maths grinds to my daughter who is in first year who was struggling a bit with some of the concepts. Tom has been extremely patient with her and has helped her grasp them a lot better. I had her parent teacher meeting recently and they said she had improved significantly so I am very happy with her progress and would highly recommend him.
