About James
I'm an Economics graduate with a Distinction in MSc Economics and Policy from King's College London and a First-Class degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Manchester.
I currently work with economic data professionally, and I've previously worked on economic research projects in both government-facing and academic settings. I've always enjoyed explaining Economics and making difficult ideas feel much more straightforward.
I'm friendly, patient and relaxed in my approach, and I try to adapt lessons to each student's confidence level, goals and learning style.

Hi, I'm James! I'm an Economics graduate with a Distinction in MSc Economics and Policy from King's College London and a First-Class degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Manchester.
I offer Economics tutoring for GCSE, A-level and undergraduate students, either in person in London or online.
My lessons are tailored to the individual student and can cover everything from understanding the core theory to working through maths, diagrams, essays and exam questions. I particularly enjoy taking topics that initially seem complicated and breaking them down into clear, intuitive steps.
I can help with:

* Coursework and dissertation guidance
* University-level Economics
* Revision and exam preparation
I achieved an A* in Economics at A-level before going on to study the subject at undergraduate and postgraduate level, so I'm very familiar with the progression from school Economics through to university study.
My aim is to make lessons relaxed and engaging while ensuring that students genuinely understand the material rather than simply memorising model answers.
I'm happy to work with students who are aiming for top grades, as well as those who are struggling with Economics and want someone to explain the subject in a clearer and less intimidating way.
