About Abigail
I have always been a good student, and gotten pretty good grades. However, I was often the last one finished, and shed many tears at the kitchen table doing homework growing up. Even as the middle child out of 6 siblings, I would still be doing homework while they were playing because they’d finished. I’d still be working well after they were asleep. I was always smart, I just took longer as I am dyslexic and have ADHD. I never sought help for these conditions until I was almost done with college, and then I wish I had sooner. But it’s ok because through that experience I was able to learn more about how to help myself and others, and I learned to appreciate our differences and how they don’t make us any lesser. Quite the opposite.

I will go at whatever pace you like, and if you point out that a certain style doesn’t seem to be helping you, we will try another way! We all learn differently, and just because you’re having trouble grasping a certain concept doesn’t mean you are not wired to. You just haven't been shown in the way that your brain is wired to learn! I've been there and it can be so frustrating. But don’t worry, because we can figure it out!
