About Kelsey
My background is primarily in neuro and neurotrauma care, where I’ve worked with complex patient cases that require strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making. Because of my travel nursing experience, I’ve worked with many different hospital systems, charting styles, and patient populations. This allows me to teach students how to adapt quickly and think like a nurse, not just memorize information.

I enjoy helping nursing students connect what they learn in textbooks to real-world patient care. My tutoring focuses on making difficult concepts easier to understand, improving clinical reasoning, and helping students feel more confident in both exams and clinical rotations.
While my primary specialty is neuro/trauma, I’m happy to help with general nursing concepts and foundational topics across the curriculum - mainly critical care concepts.
My goal is to create a supportive and practical learning environment where students can ask questions freely and leave each session feeling more confident in their knowledge.
