About Usmaan
Hi! I’m a 3rd year physics student at King’s College London with a passion for maths, physics and helping others learn.
I feel compelled to teach because I understand what it can feel like to struggle with these subjects, and because I’ve completed my GCSEs and A levels I remember what it’s like to prepare for exams while balancing other responsibilities.
Outside of university I enjoy lifting weights, playing the guitar and reading non-fiction. I believe every student can achieve what they want with patience, practice and guidance

Each lesson will be tailored to the student’s goals, whether that be improving mathematical reasoning or developing physical intuition.
I’d like to start by allowing students to highlight the topics they find hardest and then delivering an in-depth explanation for the main concepts. This is before plenty of exam questions will be attempted by the student with my help during the lesson. Instead of memorising methods to solving problems I like to explain common misconceptions about the topic.
I am most familiar with Edexcel for GCSE and A level Maths, and AQA for GCSE and A level Physics however I can definitely help with other exam boards.
