About Panos
I feel very priviledged to be a primary school children and work with children of that age. I always wanted to be a teacher; it was the one thing I was most passionate about. I just didn't know what type of teacher I wanted to be. When I turned 18, I started working in a Greek school which led me to find my passion in primary. Following my English Language and Linguistics degree, I completed my PGCE and gained my qualification. I now teach in the school of my dreams and have taught two Year 6 classes, a Year 4 class and I am teaching in Year 6 again for the last 2 years!

Having understood what my student needs to work on to achieve the targeted outcome, a typical lesson would start with an arithmetic starter which will aim to constantly practise key skills. Following the starter, we would look over a specific skill. I use the 'I do, we do, you do' approach to model the new skill and increase independence. Since the aim is to support a students' school learning, there is no problem taking our time going over a specific concept to ensure that the child has fully grasped it.
