About Issey
My name is Issey and I recently graduated from LAMDA with a distinction (first class degree). I have been passionate about performing arts since a very young age and have a wide range of experience in auditioning and taking speech and drama exams. Outside of my studies at LAMDA, I've taken part in courses at both NYT and RADA, amongst other schools. I also achieved distinctions in speech and drama grades 3-8. Above everything I want to ensure that students get the most out of their lessons and therefore endeavour to plan lessons which focus on what the student wants to work on. Whether this is singing technique, acting choices or just general practice, my goal is to ensure that students feel prepared for their exams and auditions and have a strong repertoire which reflects their artistic identity.

Lessons will consist of a quick vocal warm-up before launching into the song/scene/text that the student would like to work on. Using a wide variety of techniques such as Uta Hagen, Stanislavsky and specific vocal exercises we will explore the text of the scene/song to best prepare you for an exam or audition. I've got loads of experience in acting for musicals, stage and screen so lessons can be tailored depending on what students want to work on. We'll also work on the interview sections of exams and general audition technique to ensure that students ace their exams. I have experience in curating a strong repertoire for auditions and can help with this too!!
