About Karina
I grew up bi-lingual (English and Farsi) and so have a natural affinity with learning languages. I have studied and spoken French and Spanish for many years, as well as Russian and Mandarin. I have taught language and drama in China and Hong Kong and film studies in the UK. I do think I instil my love of language and try to make my classes as engaging and fun as possible - focusing on preparing students for their exams as well as giving them a foundation for the spoken word for the rest of their lives.

Many young adults find speaking in a foreign language daunting. My aim is to make speaking Spanish fun through role playing, listening to music videos, shopping excursions and a general immersion in the language. Lessons can last from 60 minutes to 90 minutes and are suitable for 15 to 18 year olds helping prepare them for GCSEs and A Levels.
