About Anna
Hi, I'm Anna, a dedicated and passionate tutor helping students improve their reading, comprehension, and writing skills. As a First Class Honours law graduate from King's College London, and an avid reader, I bring a strong academic background and a love for literature to every lesson. My goal is to not only help students excel in their studies but also to inspire a genuine love for reading.
I'm friendly and approachable, and I pride myself on creating a safe, supportive environment where students feel comfortable reading aloud, asking questions, and exploring new ideas.

My tutoring sessions focus on creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where students can read out loud without fear. I believe reading aloud builds confidence, improves fluency, and allows me to guide students through any difficulties they encounter.
We engage in extensive discussions about the material we read to ensure that students not only understand the story but also grasp the meaning of individual words and phrases. These discussions encourage students to connect the story to their prior knowledge and personal experiences, making reading more relatable and meaningful.
To further reinforce understanding, I use the passages we've read to inspire creative writing assignments, allowing students to apply what they’ve learned in an imaginative way.
Each lesson typically lasts one hour, providing ample time to read, discuss, and complete creative writing activities.
I have 3 years of tutoring experience and my background in law has equipped me with strong analytical skills, which I use to guide students toward deeper understanding and more structured thinking.
I tutor KS2 and KS3 students (ages 7-13) . My goal is to inspire a love for reading, build essential comprehension skills, and make learning enjoyable and engaging for every student.
