About Riley
With a BM in Studio Music and Jazz (Guitar Principal) and 5 years of teaching experience, I’ve developed a passion for using guitar as a cinematic and gaming storytelling tool. I teach Electric, Acoustic, Classical, and Bass Guitar, always with a focus on creative application. My lessons cover atmospheric soundscapes, character themes, and mood-driven compositions. I’ll show you how to use DAWs to transform guitar recordings into rich, layered soundtracks. My approach is fully student-centered, allowing us to adapt every topic to your artistic vision. Young learners will enjoy hands-on music-making tied to scenes and games they love. Adult learners can explore complex thematic development and advanced sound design. We’ll study real-world examples from popular media, then apply those techniques to your own work. Each lesson blends technical guitar skills with composition strategies. I aim to make you both a better guitarist and a better storyteller. By the end, you’ll have music that can live inside any cinematic or gaming world.
