About Mark
Hi there, I'm Mark, 22 years old and from the Netherlands. In the Netherlands, I'm pursuing a degree to become an English teacher for high schools. I've lived in Dublin for almost 5 months, and planning to emigrate back when I finish my education in the Netherlands.
How do I teach? Very simple: I believe that the best way to learn a language is by interactive lessons: speaking a lot. I've been a teacher for almost 3 years now, so I do have experience with creating lessons focused on MFL (Modern Foreign Language) teaching. My lessons will be for everybody, regardless of your age, ethnicity, etc. I see teaching Dutch as a nice challenge for myself as well.
Also, I'm a guy with a (terrible) sense of humor. I make a lot of jokes to make sure my students are not getting bored. I also believe that an important piece of teaching is a bond between the teacher and the students, also a reason why I make jokes.
