About Jess
I’m Jess, a Swiss-Portuguese freelance artist, educator and workshop host based in East London. I studied Fashion Design and Textile Design at UAL’s Chelsea College of Arts, and art has always been a huge part of my life.
For the past few years, I have been teaching and hosting creative workshops in schools, pubs and different venues across London, working with both children and adults. I particularly enjoy helping people discover their creativity in a relaxed, welcoming and pressure-free environment.
I’m passionate about making art accessible and enjoyable, whether you are completely new to art or simply looking to explore a new technique. I love experimenting with different mediums, from painting and drawing to clay and animation, and I enjoy adapting my teaching to each person’s interests and ideas.
My approach is friendly, playful and encouraging. I believe you don’t need to be “good at art” to enjoy creating, you just need to be curious and willing to have a go!

My art lessons are designed to be creative, enjoyable and accessible to everyone, from complete beginners to more experienced artists. I teach a variety of techniques, including drawing, painting, acrylic, watercolour and clay. We can explore portraits, landscapes, observation, colour, composition and develop your own artistic style.
I have experience teaching both children and adults and always adapt my lessons to each person’s age, level and interests. Whether you want to learn the basics, improve your skills, try a new medium or simply enjoy some creative time, I will create a relaxed and encouraging environment where you can experiment and have fun with art.
