About Simone
I have been teaching for over a decade and I guess my experience in teaching Portuguese and English along those years has given me the necessary approach to understand the needs of every single student. As a result, I had one of my students learning effective Portuguese and English to be prepared to deal with daily situations in a country like Brazil. I also bring curiosities about our culture, social issues and of course, the language itself.

I am a Brazilian journalist based in Dudley, living in the UK since 2011. I have over 20 years of experience teaching English in Brazil to all levels of students: Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced ones. I also helped students in learning English for business and tourism.
I have been teaching Portuguese to foreigners since I moved to the UK in 2011. My experience here also includes working as an Interpreter in Portuguese and English and also helping student applicants for GCSE in Portuguese. I also have experience in teaching CELPE - Bras certification.
My lessons are focused on Brazilian Portuguese. My aim is to present to the student the particularities of Portuguese as a second language using the internet, music, films, and all kinds of interactive material. My methodology can vary according to the client’s request and needs.
