About Davi
My name is Davi Marconi, I am a cellist musician from one of the artistic bodies of Theatro Municipal de São Paulo. I am finishing my Cello Degree in Cello at Universidade Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, UNESP. As a teacher I have worked in several music schools, social projects, private lessons and in groups. I was an assistant professor at the Baccarelli Institute in São Paulo, in the cello initiation class, and I was a playwright at the Arthur Nogueira-SP Youth Orchestra. I was also a teacher at the Guri Project, at the Indaiatuba-SP and Monte Mor-SP poles, and at the Projeto Cidadão Musical in Paulínia-SP where he taught music for needy children and youth.

I adapt the methodology according to each student. With beginning students, in addition to showing the basics of the instrument, and doing a very focused work on the correct position of the instrument to the body, I use methods like Suzuki Method (To work with memorization and increase familiarity with basic notes) along with scales simple initials in different rhythms and also the American All For Strings method. With students who already have some knowledge, I introduce the method of the German Friedrich Dotzauer, along with diverse scales in different rhythms, and introduce to the cell repertoire gradually. Every semester a recital is held with all the students, of all levels, in a specific place with pianist, because it is extremely important for their learning and to face the nervousness that the student goes through the rich experience of playing in public after having been months preparing a repertoire.
