About Dayane
Hello! My name is Dayane, and I am a Biology graduate from Trent University. Before completing my degree, I successfully completed the English as a Second Language (ESL) program at Trent University. As someone who learned English as a second language, I understand the challenges, frustrations, and rewards that come with learning a new language.
I am patient, friendly, and passionate about helping others improve their English skills and gain confidence. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to each individual's goals and learning style. Whether you want to improve your speaking, writing, pronunciation, vocabulary, or everyday communication, I am here to support you every step of the way.
My goal is to create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making progress. I look forward to helping you achieve your English learning goals!

My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and focused on building confidence. As someone who learned English as a second language and completed the ESL program at Trent University before earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology, I understand the challenges students face when learning a new language.
My lessons are tailored to each student's needs and goals. I focus on improving speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, pronunciation, and everyday communication skills. I encourage students to practice actively through conversations, exercises, videos, and real-life examples.
A typical lesson includes reviewing previous material, learning new concepts, practicing through interactive activities, and receiving constructive feedback to help students improve.
What sets me apart is my personal experience as an ESL student. I know what it takes to learn English successfully, and I am passionate about helping others gain confidence and achieve their language goals.
