My name is Vikas. I'm a former national chess player from India, rated 2000 Elo. Currently, I give chess lessons and play for the Dublin Chess Club as well. Chess is not just a game to me; it's a journey of endless fascination, mental growth, and countless strategic possibilities. I have over 10 years of experience giving chess lesson to both adults and kids. My lessons are suitable for beginners taking their first steps in the game as well as an intermediate player.
I take a personalized approach with each student, creating a plan tailored to their unique goals and the specific areas of chess where improvement is needed. My goal is to make our lessons fun, challenging, and rewarding for my students.
A typical session consists of:
- A customized lecture (opening/middle-game/endgame)
- Game analysis
- Interactive puzzles tailored to individual needs.
Each session runs for 50–70 min, designed to be focused and effective.

Perfect! Excellent way of teaching chess by providing examples of various real scenarios. Playing real game at the end of session with feedback after the game is very effective
