About Akmal
I’m currently living my dream as the bassist and guitarist of Armpunk Sindicate, a local independent punk band. Last year, our song won Lagu Terpaling Lit at Anugerah Lagu Indie — Malaysia’s most prestigious award for independent musicians. I’ve toured across the country, playing everywhere from small gigs to major festivals like Rock the World and Hausboom Music Fest. But I wouldn’t be here without my first teacher — someone who saw my potential and helped me grow. That experience taught me that every great player starts with a great teacher — one who knows how to guide, correct, and inspire.
