About the lesson

ONLINE LESSONS ONLY

My group lessons are designed around students’ shared interests and needs, encouraging everyone to participate and learn from one another. One-to-one lessons, on the other hand, are tailored to each student’s individual goals, needs and learning pace.

I am a passionate and reliable teacher who enjoys helping students express themselves confidently in a foreign language. I encourage my students to see mistakes as a natural part of learning and to improve their skills step by step.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, including working with adult learners from different backgrounds and at different language levels, I aim to create inclusive, engaging lessons where everyone feels comfortable taking part.

Having experienced the challenges of learning a foreign language myself, I understand the difficulties students may face and use this experience to support and motivate them.

My teaching method is based on the Natural Approach, with a strong focus on communication and speaking. Grammar is introduced and developed naturally through conversation and real-life contexts, helping students build confidence and use the language more effectively.

I first met Roberta at a language course she was teaching at a local college. She is an excellent teacher. She is perceptive and very quickly tunes in to the way you learn best. Her lessons are fluid and interesting and she uses different types of teaching methods to help you learn quickly. She is qualified to teach Italian and English and has a thorough understanding of both languages.
