About Neil
My name is Neil and I come from Scotland. I'm finishing my jazz piano studies at the renowned Jazz Institute Berlin (UdK). I have previously studied at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I've enjoyed performing in many different projects ranging from duos to big bands and across a few genres. But Jazz trio or Quartet is my favorite. Once we've figured out what some of your goals are for the piano, I'll do my best to help you achieve them. I try to teach theoretical concepts over a tune so it always has real life context. I'm always flexible in teaching methods and very patient. It's important we have fun in the lessons and you always learn something new. I have my own teaching materials to draw from and will always tailor them to your needs. I'm also happy to learn your favorite tunes and teach them to you or write out a sheet! I just want to help you enjoy playing jazz piano as much as I do!
