Super Prof

Ashima is one of our best English tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Ashima

As a phonetics teacher, I focus on helping students understand the sounds of language through detailed analysis and practical application. I provide engaging lessons on articulation and pronunciation. My goal is to boost confidence in speaking clearly and understanding the nuances of spoken language.

About the lesson

This class offers an in-depth introduction to phonetics, the scientific study of the sounds of human speech. Students explore how speech sounds are produced, transmitted, and perceived, with a focus on articulatory phonetics (how speech sounds are formed using the vocal tract), acoustic phonetics (the physical properties of speech sounds), and auditory phonetics (how the ear and brain process sounds). Through hands-on activities, transcription practice using the acoustic analysis, students develop the skills to analyze and describe speech sounds in various languages.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Ashima.
