About Tim
I was a teaching assistant at Princeton helping professors teach classes for 3 years as I was a graduate students. I have also tutored privately on and off during my academia career. Students are often surprised at how some seemingly difficult and abstract concepts in physics can be intuitively understood in a simple way. I strive to share with students the way physicists think about physics, which is not often taught at school.

I am currently an active researcher at UC Berkeley with many peer-reviewed first authored publication. I got my Ph.D at Princeton University 3 years ago with 10 years of research experience.
I have expert knowledge in many areas in theoretical physics and mathematics, include but not limited to: Particle Physics, High Energy Physics, Quantum Field Theory, Cosmology, Nuclear Physics, Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electro-dynamics, Classical Mechanics, Differential Geometry and Calculus.
I have helped teach many classes at Princeton and have tutored learners at different levels: high school through adult science enthusiasts. I believe that even complicated concepts like "the Higgs Mechanism" or "Supersymmetry" can be explained and learned at an intuitive level. Whether you are layperson interested in current status of fundamental physics, or a highly motivated student ready to dig into deep graduate level physics material, I can help you out!
