About Arun
I'm a dedicated and passionate piano teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. My teaching journey has taken me from university classrooms to private 1-on-1 lessons, allowing me to develop a flexible, student-focused approach that meets each learner where they are. With a strong foundation in both Carnatic and Western classical music, I hold a Grade 8 certification from Trinity College of Music, London. My lessons aim to cultivate not just technical skill, but also musicality, creativity, and confidence. Whether you're learning for leisure, preparing for graded exams, or looking to explore music composition and theory, I offer a professional and supportive environment to help you grow. My teaching style blends technical discipline with creative exploration, rooted in both Carnatic and Western classical music. I focus on building strong fundamentals in technique, theory, ear training, and improvisation, while also nurturing skills in arranging and composing.
Teaching Approach:
Each lesson is customised to suit the student’s learning style and goals. I combine structured curriculum with interactive, repertoire-based learning, and offer guidance for Trinity College exam preparation if desired.

Typically 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the student’s level and focus.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching piano for the past 10 years, offering both university-level instruction and private 1-on-1 lessons, working with students across various age groups and skill levels.
