About Babak
I am a Conductor, Composer and multi-instrumentalist. I play piano (my main instrument) as well as violin and cello. This allows me to understand the process of learning an instrument from various different angles. I am also a composer with tens of published and publicly performed catalogues of works from symphonies to concertos to solo piano works in London and all over the world! In terms of official education; I'm also highly qualified. I have a Master of Music degree from Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. My undergraduate degree comes from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire where I enjoyed a high scholarship award for studying music. In addition to these, I have participated in tens of piano masterclasses, performances and pedagogy seminars. For more information contact me via Superprof

I teach music academically, what that means is we go through all required fields of musicianship in a disciplined and meticulous fashion. I also believe that it should be fun to learn music regardless of the level. To achieve a fun yet academic method of learning music, I tailor-make each lesson according to the needs of each student. Forget the generic lessons in which everyone is taught the same way! Private one-to-one music lessons are where the student should grow and flourish in their own particular way of understanding music! Therefore each student will receive a lesson plan based on further improving their strengths as well as growing their areas of weakness.
