About Gerard
I have been playing music for as long as I can remember and have great practical knowledge of musicianship. Since the age of 18 I have been freelancing doing audio post production for online clients giving me a deep understanding of post production and also communicative skills which translate greatly to a teaching environment. I currently play bass guitar in a Cornwall based function band.

I am a First Class Music Technology graduate with a passion for all music and bringing music to all. I have experience with working in the music industry through freelance Audio Engineering and also plays numerous instruments. Tuition is relaxed and personalised to every student with the intention of bringing a vocational education with practical uses in the real world.
Tuition takes place within my small home studio setup which contains guitars, basses, keyboards, synths and production+recording capabilities. The studio rig is a brilliant example of a vocational setup while still maintaining studio grade recording standards which students could easily afford themselves later in life if they wish to pursue music and production.
During my bass guitar lessons, depending upon the skill level of the student, they can be as simple or as advanced as needed, all tuition is one-to-one and completely tailored to that students needs.
