About Maria
My name is Maria, I’m 29 years old, and I’m a native Portuguese speaker from Minas Gerais, Brazil (currently living in Glasgow, Scotland).
I am absolutely passionate about travelling, exploring new cultures, and most importantly, teaching! Having learnt different languages myself, I know how intimidating it can be to start speaking. That is why patience is my biggest strength.
I do not believe in rushing through lessons. Every student has their own pace, and my goal is to make sure you feel completely comfortable, relaxed, and safe to make mistakes and learn from them.
As a trilingual tutor (fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese), I can guide you smoothly through your learning journey, explaining things in your own language whenever needed.
Whether you are preparing for an upcoming holiday or just want to start speaking practical Portuguese, I am here to help you step-by-step, with a big smile and all the time you need.
