About PHILIP NG WENG CHEE

Hi! I’m a passionate teen speedcuber, WCA competitor, and advanced CFOP method user. While I move fast on my own solves, I know exactly what it feels like to sit with a scrambled 3x3 and not know where to start. That’s why I focus on making the Rubik’s Cube fun, easy, and completely frustration-free for beginners. Whether you or your child wants to learn a cool new skill, build problem-solving confidence, or get a break from phone screens, my step-by-step beginner lessons will guide them from total beginner to confidently solving the cube on their own.

About the lesson

I’ve taught everyone from 5-year-olds to 70-year-old grandparents—including my own family and friends—so I know how to break down the Rubik’s Cube at a pace that works for anyone. My lessons are open to all ages, whether you're a total beginner looking to solve your first cube or someone wanting a fun way to keep your mind sharp. Standard sessions run for one hour, but we can easily extend them if you want an intensive run through the steps. We'll work through the cube layer by layer with plenty of hands-on practice, and I'll make sure you leave every session knowing exactly what to do next without feeling overwhelmed.
