About Charu
I am 27, a recent graduate with an MSc in Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship from the London School of Economics. I have 4 years of work experience consulting large and small organisations on sustainability and social impact-related projects. I have exhibited my work thrice in Delhi and Tamil Nadu, India. I wish to combine my passion for photography and utilise it to visually uncover social problems worldwide to represent the most pressing issues. Teaching is another passion for me; I wish to share my learned experience and help young people grow in the areas they love! In times which are constantly changing and we are presented with new challenges every day, I believe honing our desired skills and working towards our dreams is something we owe ourselves.

I am your friend first, then your tutor. I believe in the innate innovation capability of each individual and utilise my efforts to hone them, using teaching methods that suit them the most. Eg. If someone is an Auditory learner, I would teach most through speaking and taking a photo walk in a location suitable for the class theme. Alternatively, if someone is a visual learner, I would show them photographic presentations with the techniques used and have a reflection session after that. I have previously taught students aged 14 to 25 and conducted workshops on photo compositions and light and camera settings.
