About Aina
Hi! I’m Aina, a Licensed Professional Teacher and TEFL-certified teacher from the Philippines. I’ve been teaching Tagalog since 2017 and have experience teaching foreign learners online.
Learning Tagalog doesn’t have to feel like memorizing a long list of words! In my lessons, we’ll learn useful expressions, practice real conversations, and have fun while discovering Filipino culture along the way.
I’m patient, friendly, and happy to adjust my lessons to your level, learning style, and goals. Whether you want to talk to your Filipino partner, communicate with family and friends, prepare for a trip, a student learning Filipino language at school or simply learn a new language, I’m here to help!

In my lessons, we won’t just memorize grammar rules! We’ll practice real-life conversations, useful Filipino expressions, pronunciation, and everyday vocabulary—the kind of Tagalog you can actually use when talking to Filipinos.
I can teach Filipino/Tagalog from beginner to more advanced levels, depending on your goals. Our lessons may include:

For Basic Education students, I can also teach Filipino lessons such as pagbasa, pagsulat, talasalitaan, balarila, pagbuo ng pangungusap, pag-unawa sa binasa, pagsasalita, at iba't ibang uri ng tekstong Filipino. Lessons can be adapted to the student's grade level and learning needs.
