Annemarie's patience, professional experience and attention to detail separate her classes from all the LinkedIn Learning, Linda and YouTube videos I've tried. After Effects has always loomed over me as the program I'd never fully understand, but she tailored her teaching and content to my learning style. She provided the "why" behind the "what," and how it related to real world work – techniques I still use today. Having that one-on-one time to really dive into complex concepts that I never fully understood and to ask as many questions as I needed proved to be invaluable in understanding the program. I didn't think after ten sessions I'd be so comfortable in the program, but I was able to start taking VFX jobs almost immediately.
