About Daniel
There is a reason why I say that learning to dance salsa and bachata will change your life. I say this because it changed mine back when I first started this beautiful journey, and I've witnessed the positive impact of Latin dance of those who decide to start their own jourey.
I am a dancer with 2 years of teaching experience at beginner - improver- intermediate levels of Salsa and Bachata.
I started my dancing journey years ago in Colombia and have never looked back. I have been part of several dancing academies in Colombia and Canada, and I am grateful to have learned from incredibly talented dancers and to be part of several dance performances and events. This journey has led me to pick up the necessary tools and experience to start my own career as a dance instructor.

In my Salsa and Bachata classes, you will be immersed in a musical fun-filled environment. You will be able to develop dancing skills and techniques, increase your confidence and feel connected to your body!
In our first lesson, we will explore your knowledge, skills and experience with dance (beginners completely welcome!). We will set goals and expectations. From there, we will construct a road map that will guide us towards your dancing goals.
The following lessons will have a FUN and dynamic mix of theory and practice that will cover the following:
1) Basics and fundamentals: The best way to improve your dancing abilities is to nail down the basics - body position, mechanics, weight transfers, breathing, basic turns and patterns.
2) Musicality: You will understand the relationship between body movements and the music we are dancing to! Dancing becomes increasingly more enjoyable when we do so.
3) Homework: What? Dancing homework? Yes! I will leave you several exercises and activities you can do in between lessons that will reinforce what we learn in class
