About Dean
- My name is Dean Walsh. I'm 28 years of age and I am from Co. Tipperary.
- I’m an enthusiastic and approachable teacher who genuinely enjoys helping students become more confident in English. Having taught in both Ireland and Australia, I have experience working with students of different abilities and learning styles.
- Previous students of mine have frequently mentioned that my passion and love for English literature and teaching makes the classes more enjoyable.
-I’m particularly passionate about literature, writing and developing students’ own ideas, rather than simply learning essays off by heart. I believe students achieve their best when they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and working towards clear, achievable goals.

- Six years teaching experience, specializing in Leaving Certificate English and Geography
- My lessons are structured, practical and exam-focused, with an emphasis on essay and paragraph writing techniques, exam tips and understanding exactly what examiners are looking for.
-Lessons are tailored to each student's individual strengths and areas for improvement.
- Sessions typically last 60 minutes and I also mark one piece of work after each lesson to track progress and offer essential feedback
- Experience in both home tuition as well as grinds and references are available on request.
