About Alex
Hi! I’m Alex, a Third-year Medical student at the University of Leeds. I have recent experience of MMI style interviews at three different UK Medical Schools and have completed both the UKCAT and BMAT preclinical assessments. I can happily offer advice and tutoring tailored to your needs and support your journey from Sixth Form to Medical School. I obtained three Interviews and achieved three offers to Study medicine at the University of Leeds, University of Cardiff and Anglia Ruskin University.
I have undergone an enhanced DBS check (July 2019)

My focus is on tailoring a strategy with students to recognise the strengths and weaknesses of their application, then using this information to maximise their chances of successful admission. Having recently been through the process myself, I remember how challenging and confusing certain aspects of the application were, and how valuable guidance and advice was.
I can provide lessons in the different aspects of UKCAT and BMAT preparation, as well as marking BMAT essays. I am happy to support all aspects of your medical school application, including your personal statement and conducting Mock Interviews exploring the themes and questions commonly encountered by prospective students.
A lot of prospective students worry about the interviews in particular. Having received offers at all the medical schools I interviewed at, I feel well placed to build your confidence in MMI style interviews and maximise your chances of success.
