About Liza
I currently study Criminology at Durham University, which is a mix of all of my favourite subjects: history, psychology and social research. My love for literature urges me to keep reading, and I enjoy learning new languages - I am currently studying Spanish. I love tutoring because working with children and young adults has always come naturally to me, and I find it to be a fulfilling way to pass my own knowledge onto others. Working with students to find which methods work best for them is just as amazing for me as seeing their achievements!

As a first-year student of Criminology at Durham University, I took A-levels in English literature, Psychology, Russian and History. I am a native Russian/English speaker, teaching these languages to all skill levels - from basic reading and literacy to creative writing and fluency in literature. My qualifications include a 9 in GCSE Russian and GCSE English language, as well as A* in both English literature and Russian A-levels. I also have ОГЭ qualifications in Russia (GCSE equivalents), which has helped me develop a wide interest in Russian literature. I teach online, with 4 years experience in tutoring English and Russian to children aged 6-18. Lessons are interactive, and I place great effort on finding how to approach each individual student to suit their learning style.
