About Julie Anne
I have an academic and professional background in modern languages and law in which I graduated in the United Kingdom. I have worn several hats including as a paralegal and political assistant although my primary work has always been in languages as a legal translator/editor and more recently as a tutor.

I take a flexible approach to lessons prioritising the student's needs and preferences in a given session. We may focus on a topic or grammar depending on preference or identified issues. Alternatively, we may proofread a document together practicing pronunciation and correcting terms and sentence structure.
Activities may include simple dialogues on a chosen theme, random questions to practice conversational vocabulary or selecting a news item of interest to discuss, practice comprehension, pronunciation and develop vocabulary.
