I have been working with Nicola Said for a number of years, and I can say that she dedicates an enormous amount of energy to whatever she does. Despite her being mainly trained as a Classical Soprano, her versatility in the various genres is astounding and she is ready for absolutely anything you present to her. I do not think I have ever been close to having a 'neutral' reaction when performing alongside her, as I always feel a great satisfaction when collaborating with her and whenever on stage, we feed off each other's music-making. I am a flute player and I took a supplementary lesson on breathing with Nicola. She was extremely helpful in adapting her teaching for a flute player rather than a singer, and made sure to address all the questions I had. She was also helpful in describing how the breathing mechanism works, and in illustrating the way singers make use of their body while breathing. I highly recommend Nicola as a teacher.

Nicola Said is a fantastic teacher with a great understanding of the voice and highly educated in the art of singing. She is a great Soprano herself with a lot of experience as a performer which in turn helps her to teach students about all the aspects of opera. Nicola cares a lot about her students and their vocal instrument. She treats the voice with respect and teaches her students with a scientific approach, addressing their needs. I have had a great time with Nicola as her character is quite approachable and saw great improvements as a Tenor.
