I specialize in holding student-centered lessons that are enjoyable and meaningful for teenagers. I teach language and literature classes by seamlessly integrating my learners' personal experiences, as well as pop culture references and relevant social issues. I use these as the hook for my lessons, and once I have engaged my students, I lead them to a discussion that is centered on thought-provoking, coherent questions. I then provide assessment that facilitates the application of the skills and concepts taught.
