About Roel
With my Dutch background and training at The Amsterdam University of the Arts, Bachelor of the Arts and Cert4 Training and Assessment, I bring a unique perspective and approach to embodied acting in Australia. I have 25 years of stage experience, 8+ years teaching experience, 6 of these have been in Australia including NIDA Bachelor of Acting, Actors Centre Australia, Sydney Theatre School, Sydney Actors School and The Hubstudio. Coaching professionals in leadership roles as well as performers in the Arts industry.

My work is based on Somatic Intelligence and Embodiment. Allowing the body to speak and creating a connective state of awareness that brings an abundance of personal ability and creativity. A useful toolset and skill-based Embodied approach allows for an enrichment of the actor's capability to transform and express authentically when engaging in character work or performance. Breath work, felt sense experience, voice work and physical exercises as well as metaphor-based text exploration and movement choreography.

Price list: Hourly rates are the following: Face to face: (Space hire excluded) $90 hr (Single hour) $75 hr for (2 or 3 hours in a row) $60 hr for (Half a day) $50 hr (Full day) Online: $60 hr $50 hr (5 hour pack) $40 (10 hour pack) Cancellation policy: +24 hours to booked session time: No charge within 24 hours of the booked session time: full charge Rescheduling of a session: Free of charge
