About Syeda
I've been assigned as a tutor, teacher, and student throughout my life. I have developed a strong belief that when your foundations are right, you can achieve bigger things. This is why I focus on providing both foundational and advanced support to my students. I have taught over 80 students completing over 2500+ tutoring hours from diverse backgrounds, curriculums, and regions, and have consistently received positive responses. I've never been a particularly strong student, but I've discovered a method that helps me learn effectively. Now, I want to share this altered approach to learning with my students. Instead of expecting them to fit into one teaching technique, I adapt my style according to their needs. I believe in tailoring my teaching to each individual student, empowering them to learn in a way that suits them best.

I like to keep my sessions highly interactive, using whiteboards and small, frequent questions to engage students and assess their understanding. The whiteboards help illustrate concepts clearly, while the questions keep students actively involved and provide immediate feedback on their comprehension. This approach allows me to identify and address misconceptions quickly, ensuring that students grasp the material effectively. I like to keep lesson plans that break down bigger concepts into manageable chunks for better understanding. By organising material into smaller, digestible sections, I make complex topics more approachable for students. This method ensures that each part of the lesson builds on the previous one, allowing students to grasp each element fully before moving on to the next. This structured approach promotes a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. As a student, I always struggled with learning until I realised that the usual boring techniques don’t work for everyone. Since then, I've been coming up with methods that help me remember concepts better by focusing on their implementation and outcomes. This approach has made learning & teaching more engaging and effective for me. I strongly believe in building a healthy relationship with my students, which creates a relaxed learning environment. This gives them the freedom to ask questions confidently, knowing they will receive thoughtful answers. This supportive atmosphere encourages curiosity and deeper understanding.
