About Libby
I am an easygoing, friendly person who would always add fun to every lesson. I believe in engaging learning where student and teacher interact, bouncing ideas from each other rather than a strict environment where students can only get teachers knowledge, and not the reasoning behind it. As I have just completed my GCSE’s myself and am still currently a student, it’s easy for me to put myself in students shoes and understand how to modernise learning for our current generation.

I currently have no experience other than tutoring friends from my secondary who are currently completing year 11, however, I would like to develop my teaching skills as I would love a job as an English teacher after A-levels, I am looking to do a degree in English literature. My lessons would consist of 20-45 minute sessions for students, based on their needs and if they work best with quick revision blasts or more detailed, longer sessions. With mind maps, essay templates, exam technique and grade 9 analysis, I would tailor each session to the students personal needs with a questionnaire during the first session to see where their weaknesses lie and how we can further develop their strengths.
